Atrium Suite
Resort Description:
Located between the lobby and the beach, our popular Atrium Suites exude classic Caribbean style. Surrounded by tropical foliage, these restful accommodations feature soaring cedar ceilings, wrap-around shutters, screen windows, and private furnished balconies with hammocks. With no television, there's nothing to detract from your island getaway.
My perspective
These suites are for people that enjoy nature. They have screen windows instead of glass, so you can hear the birds and outdoor sounds. These rooms are a bit warmer due to the screens. They do have shutters to close, so you still have privacy. These rooms don't have a TV. Some are near the beach and some are in the center of the resort.
You have a porch to sit out and enjoy the outdoors.
Garden Verandah Suite
Resort Description:
Overlooking the resort's lush tropical gardens, our Garden Verandah Suites have private furnished balconies, terra cotta tile floors, and French doors with cedar shutters. They are located along the resort perimeter near the entrance and the road.
My perspective
While these rooms have a porch facing the garden, their door side is near the road. The road noise can still be heard throughout the room.
These are a great option for a budget room with a pretty view.
Ocean Verandah Suite
Resort Description:
Located closer to the beach, on one of 3 floors, our ultra-private Ocean Verandah Suites offer partial views of the Caribbean Sea through French doors that open onto beautifully furnished balconies.
My perspective
These rooms are located in the center of the resort between the garden suites and the beachfront suites. They have a view of the gardens. You can see a sliver of the ocean through the trees, but mostly they face gardens. They are more private than the garden suites because they face large, open areas. They are still only steps from the beach.
Your porch will face the ocean. Some light road noise can still be heard.
Beachfront (Verandah) Suite
Resort Description
Located directly on Seven Mile Beach, our Beachfront Verandah Suites have French doors leading to expansive private balconies overlooking the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Just steps from the sand, these suites are located on the first, second, and third floors.
My perspective
These suites are in the center of the resort, and provide the quietest environment. In my opinion, these are the best rooms in the resort due to their central location, quiet nature, and walk-out beach location.
You have two options:

Great House Verandah Suite
Resort Description
Located in the Great House just steps from the Cabana Grill, Aura Bar, Feathers, Patois Patio, and the swim-up pool bar, our ocean-facing Great House Verandah Suites offer partial views of the Caribbean.
My perspective
This suite is for people that stay up late and don't mind noise. The music stops around 10 pm, but the pool bar below stays open, so you will hear talking into the night.
Two options:

Great House Ocean Verandah Suite- Faces the ocean (best views,but more noisy)
NOTE: This room is for people that like exercise, are fit, and like stairs. You have 5 sets of stairs and a long hallway to get to the rooms.
Premier Beachfront Suite
Resort Description
Our most sought-after accommodation, the resort's collection of eight Premier Beachfront Suites is decorated in classic Caribbean style with comfortable seating areas, floor-to-ceiling cedar shutters, and French doors leading out to expansive outdoor living spaces only feet away from the beach. With no TV in the room to detract from the serenity of your island getaway, it is a perfect romantic bungalow for two.
My perspective
This is for the ultimate outdoors person that enjoys fresh air. These suites have an extra large porch, so you can spend your time outside and still have your own space. They are located on the beach, so just step right into the sand from your private porch.
The rooms have no RVs, and screens on the windows instead of glass, so you can enjoy the sounds of nature, but this does make them a little warmer and less sound proof.
These were occupied, so I couldn't get inside pictures. The rooms are similar to the Atrium Suites.
Sports Center
Couples Swept Away has Jamaica's premier resort fitness site that spans across 10 acres of the resort.
Highlights include:

Mobility
Couples Swept Away is a very large and long property. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from one end to the other. If you feel that a mobility scooter would be beneficial, we can make arrangements to have one there for you. It is leased through an external company, but delivered to the resort. There would be an extra fee for this to be added. Cost ranges from $250-$410 depending on your specific needs. CLICK HERE for more information.
Alternate Transportation to and from the airport
Included with your stay at Couples is transportation to and from the airport on a small bus.
The ride is approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes depending on traffic.
If you would like an alternative option, you can choose between a small plan ride from Montego Bay to Negril, or a private car ride. Both would be an additional cost.

Club Mobay
This is a service that expedites your arrival and departure by taking you around the standard line when you arrive and depart. You will be greeted as you exit the gate area, taken directly through customs and to their lounge to await your resort transportation. For departure, you will go to the Club Mobay line at security and go around the standard line. They have a lounge with food for you to relax in while you wait for your flight time. Cats of Couples
Throughout the property, you will notice there are cats around. Some are out and greeting you. Others you will notice in hidden in the trees. These are not stray cats. They are cared for by the resort. They are fixed, get medical attention, and have feeding stations. They are a part of the family, and live comfortably throughout the resort grounds.
